Terrazza Don Mario bed&breakfast

Perfect location close to Cumana train and Metro to Naples and beaches, or ferry to the islands. Close enough to easily walk to tons of great cafes, shops, and restaurants, but in an area which is quiet for a good night's sleep. We enjoyed the shared terrace each morning/evening which was really nice to have access to. We were given excellent recommendations on restaurants to eat, and local sights to see at check-in. Room, bathroom, and all common areas were all spotlessly clean so our stay was perfect thanks to the excellent hosts. Will definitely stay again!

It was so nice to stay here for a few days. The building is so close to the port to reach Ischia and Procida, and it is so close to the station Pozzuoli Solfatara, from where you can easily reach Naples. The house and its surroundings is pretty and interesting (interesting for the people from another country :-) I liked the atmosphere of this part of the town with historical architecture and houses with terraces. The view from our terrace was beautiful - we could look at Rione Terra and the part of the port with boats and ferries. And so many seagulls live there, what I liked so much as well :-D. The room was pretty, clean and tastefully furnished, we had what we needed and the owner was kind and polite. I recommend you to stay here.

I would be happy if there is the non - sweet option of breakfast for diabetics or other people who couldnt eat the sugar because of some reasons (for example, one piece of bread or bun with butter). My mama is diabetic and she really can´t eat the sugar. And the second thing that in fact is not related to the accomodation but it is related to the some people there. The man from the next room had a cute dog with himself, but, once in the morning he left him to go to the terrace and the dog peed there on the floor.

The lady who cleans the rooms was super helpful. Although she doesn't speak English, she knew a bit of French and thanks to it, we could communicate in French with her. (I'm a French speaker, in addition to English) Mario, the owner, speaks English and he responds immediately when you ask about something. On my last day, I asked them to leave my luggages and they waited me until my arrival although I was late because of the transportation. The location is very close to the train which goes to Torregaveta and Montesanto stations. So, if you want to go either beach or the city center, it is easy to reach to the station, just 1-2min away by foot. The room was really new, clean, the room was cleaned during my stay too. Air conditioner, Tv works perfectly. If you want to watch something on Netflix, Youtube or else, the Tv is an Android tv so you can easily watch anything on it. As for breakfast, as a Turkish, I don't prefer a fully sweet breakfast unlike Italians. They only eat sweet things and drink coffee for the breakfast. But, at least you find some bread, chocolate croissant, nutella, jam, milk, espresso, cappuchino every morning as breakfast. And they give you bottled water everyday, it was so nice nice.

The pillows were too uncomfortable for me. I think that they weren't soft enough for me. Other than that, nothing negative. :)

Very nice and clean apartment, willing owner who adviced us perfect trattoria close to apartment.Perfect location right in the city centre. Definitely, we will come back!
