I would say the location as you are at the local bus stop for the bus to the condor mirador (8.30-8.50 it pulls up outside) it’s about 5Soles. Also this bus takes you Fitbit to Cabandaconde for 10soles. Don’t listen to the staffs suggestion of taxi costs. They quoted S/150 up from Chivay but cost us S/70. Staying here in Pinchollo therefore saves you over an hour each day to reach your hikes.

For the same reason the location was great, it was also a trap. In Pinchollo, there is zero restaurant options and so you are a slave to the will of the hotel, its prices and food. My goodness that chef should realise they are in the wrong job. How can you get so many basic meals wrong. Over cooked pasta to mush, bolognaise sauce that was so salty it brought tears to your eyes. A pizza that toon an hour to come then arrived burnt and it was a supermarket brought base with gross purée on it. Dreadful food. Also extortionate prices as they have you in their clutches. You wouldn’t mind the prices if it was decent food.

We hadden er meer van verwacht. De foto’s laten een hele luxe lodge zien. Je ziet dat dit ooit zo geweest is, maar op dit moment is het redelijk vervallen. De laatste jaren is er niks gebeurd en daardoor is het niet de luxe accommodatie wat je verwacht voor dat geld.

Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre passage dans cet hôtel : un tres bon accueill, souriant, le personnel est aux petits soins (bouillotte chaude le soir, feu dans la cheminée,). Tres bon repas. Et un magnifique petit déjeuner avec beaucoup de choix. Vue magnifique depuis la terrasse et les chambres (belles et confortables)

Ce n est pas bien important vu le lieu, mzis un peu plus d eau chaude.

An absolutely exceptional experience! The ladies working there went out of their way and beyond for us and deserve a 12/10 rating. Amazingly beautiful scenery, great breakfast, and super comfortable beds. Everything was clean. We were served cocoa tea upon arrival and enjoyed a delicious meal in the afternoon. Because we had to leave early the next day (05:00), the staff made us a big and lovely breakfast at 04am. Nothing to say but a perfect stay!
