Beautiful barn conversion surrounded by woodland near Newark Show-ground

Lovely quiet, remote location. Beautiful renovation of an old stables block. Plenty of old exposed wooden beams. Property was very clean with a well equipped kitchen. Plenty of parking and good security lighting for any late arrivals. All on one level - good for anyone with mobility problems. Good internet and TV, nice breakfast bar and excellent heating system for an extremely cold weekend.

We booked for 3 adults, and only 3 small bath towels provided. Also not enough toilet roll - we ran out and had to use kitchen roll on the last morning. The amount of complimentary toiletries was minimal - 3 very small tubes of shower gel etc. The bathroom really needs a shelf above the sink for toiletry bags, toothbrushes etc. otherwise items have to be placed down near the toilet.... One annoying problem was the magnolia emulsion used on the walls. Any dark clothing that touched it became covered in chalk-like dust, and most of our winter clothing was black.
