The extra bed in the living room was a bit firm for my liking

Everything was stunking including the linen and the entrance

If you’re looking for a comparatively cheap option in a good location near Holyrood, Arthur’s Seat and the Old Town, this place is for you. It is very cheap for location however this is reflected on the rest. Compared to the dodgy outside, the inside was not as bad.

The apartment is located in a dodgy building. It would have been very difficult to find without the photos sent. It is not stated anywhere that the apartment is number 2 - which we found out by reading the comments on booking.com. The stairwell leading to the apartment is simply disgusting - it stank of wee as if someone had just done it there. The cleanliness inside could also be improved, the shower was very rusty and dust all over the bin. Property clearly does not have a place to dry the bedsheets so they are left on the balcony for the whole duration of the stay close to the very dirty parts of the building, which is not encouraging.

Very confusing finding the flat no flat number given in directions. It’s flat no 2! Entrance to building dirty, rubbish everywhere and smelly. Bedding hanging up to dry on dirty balcony Not like the photos. Old faded bedding Sofa very dirty and stained Bathroom grout very mouldy especially in the shower Shower door broken

When we arrived there was washing left on the balcony which remained for the duration of the stay

A little confusing to find. Need to put that the apartment number is 2. And that the key is also a fob to open the outer door of the location. Lol. Probably should have known that, but it was a little confusing.
