Lake home near Savannah Downtown

It was close to my daughter and her family that are stationed at Ft. Stewart.

Major plumbing issues from day one. Called owner 1 hour after arriving concerning water on bathroom floor, 2 large potholes on the driveway filled with water with pvc pipes close by, pool was green. No response, although I left a detailed message on the recorder of the number she gave. By Saturday, the tub was leaking from the upstairs into the living room. Contacted her through booking.com. She sent someone to clean the pool and said she’d send someone about the driveway since it was hard to get past the large potholes. That was never done. Several days later, both toilets overflowed, sewage backed up in the bathrooms, showers/tubs, closet on screened in porch. After contacting her again, I got to spend the day with 2 different plumbing companies while they determined the plumbing issues. The 1st company identified 4 different issues, but the owner did not want to use them. A 2nd plumber showed up a little later. He asked if the house was on a septic system because the owner didn’t know. He was able to locate it, showed me that the tank had not been emptied in years. He advised her to have it emptied and have a cleaning crew come clean the sewage backed-ups throughout the house. None of that was done! There were no cleaning supplies there, so I used the 5 bath towels to keep it from going in the hall. I reserved this house in October 2025. 3 days before I arrived, the owner notified me that there were plumbing problems and I’d have to find somewhere else to stay. Since it was last minute, the only other place cost an additional $1,000. I should have taken that as a warning!!

La Cabaña es muy linda esta limpia y muy acogedora claro podrían prestarle atención a muchos detalles pero la Cabaña es increíble nos encanto y mucho.... la pasamos Super Genial dentro.

Las Áreas exteriores estan desatendida y es una gran lástima porque es hermozo el lugar, el Deck de madera del lago la piscina las Áreas del Jardín la carretera de entrada tiene un gran hueco en la entrada, no tiene iluminación exterior y aunque es invierno me hubiera encantado que estuviera bien limpia y cuidada las Áreas exteriores, se siente como si la tuvieran abandonada la verdad y es triste porque es hermoza.

Great country home. Amazing beds and pillows. I need to find out where the sheets are from, so soft. Quiet area. Short day trip to Savanah. Recommendations of places to see by the owner were amazing. Oh, I love the trees with all this moss hanging on them. The pool deck overlooks the little lake. Nice to relax outside.

The one thing I can complain about was the sofa, a little small to fit 4 adults. But we made it work. Everything else was great.

Quaint and private

I needed a multiple bedroom overnight near the 17 South club. This house fit the bill perfectly.

Some of the wiring is a bit sketchy, but nothing too dangerous. There's no real baking gear we could find. Young kids will need supervision, there's a lake and signage indicates the neighbors are sick of folks wandering into their yard.

This place exceptional just loved everything location beautiful home very inviting sitting out by the water was the best. I will be back this year a must for a girl trip
