Dear Booking.com, We would like to formally report a serious violation of booking terms during our stay at [property name and location]. 1. Misleading Listing: The apartment did not match the photos. There was no dining table as shown, the faucet was broken (and remained unfixed), and the balcony was filled with building materials. The only table available was a camping table with plastic chairs. 2. Lack of Basic Amenities: Toilet paper was missing, and we had to ask several times to receive some—violating basic hospitality standards. 3. Late Check-in: Although our check-in time was agreed upon, the property was not ready and we were told to wait an extra 1.5 hours. 4. Host's Threatening Behavior: The host demanded an extra 300 NIS for an additional guest, entered the apartment without permission, refused to leave, and threatened to evict us if we didn’t pay. This created a strong sense of fear and discomfort. 5. Unethical Conduct: When we refused to pay the full amount due to the poor conditions, the host offered a discount in exchange for a 10-star review—clearly against Booking.com policies. 6. Parking Incident: Although we apologized for mistakenly using the wrong parking spot, a neighbor called the police, and the host arrived aggressively and spoke disrespectfully. He again used the situation to pressure us for the 300 NIS. These issues clearly violate Booking.com’s standards for accurate listings, guest safety, and respectful communication.
