Great place in the rice paddies, loads of wildlife around. Remote and calm place. Staff super friendly and so very helpful, but not pushing

We liked it, but it is a bit remote. So if you want to go out for food or drinks, it is a 15 minute walk (the staff will be very helpful and arrange some at the hotel for you though if you like)

What a find this was. Clean modern rooms in beautiful surroundings with a lovely pool. This is the definition of a hidden gem. You simply must eat here in the evening, the food was the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka and generous portions. We saw a wine store as we drove in ( less than 5 mins drive for those interested), when we asked about available drinks the manager offered to drive and get what we wanted. Breakfast was lovely and they even bought a fridge to our room for us to use. There are sun beds and tables and chairs in the grounds so we spent the evening sitting out watching the sun go down over the paddy fields, simply beautiful. If you are looking for somewhere fabulous to stay between Negombo and Sigiria. Look no further. You won’t find better.
