North West London Escape

I was very disappointed with my stay. The place was not as clean as expected (the photos make it look much better than it actually is), with spider webs around the lights, dust on top of the fridge, and an old clock that should have been thrown away rather than left there collecting dust. There were no hangers for winter coats, either at the entrance or in the bedroom wardrobes, and overall the apartment looked nothing like the pictures. The dining table only had four chairs even though we booked for six people. There were only three glasses available, meaning we had to share, and only five cups for tea and coffee. The dishes in the cupboards were dirty and had not been properly cleaned. The kitchen blinds were stained, and the couch had a strong, unpleasant odour that made our clothes smell like food after sitting on it. If you are planning to cook for yourself, be aware that there is very limited equipment and utensils available. The shower cabin was extremely tight, not suitable for larger individuals, and it appeared to be fixed with zip ties instead of being properly secured to the wall. Furniture in the bedrooms was old, the beds were not comfortable at all, wardrobes ready to fall on you. Overall, the property did not meet our expectations.

This property is an absolutely disgusting place. The host misleads guests with the photos that most likely were made right after renovation being done quite a while ago. Now, the property is in a very poor condition: * cracks in the walls, * broken window glass, * broken door handle, * a lot of mold on the window frames in all the bedrooms and in the bathroom, * traces of the water leakage on the walls, * smell of dampness in the bathroom and on the ground floor, * peeling paint on the walls and door frames, * a big-finger-sized gap between the floor and the entrance door, * spider webs everywhere, * broken electric socket, etc The neighbourhood looks very unsafe. This place is definitely not for families or anyone who cares about their health and safety. The host pretended to be very surprised when I called him and said all of that. He insisted that everything was fine, but one can just take a look at the attached photos for the evidence. Also, he ignored all requests to make a refund. I warn everyone to avoid this place and this host. He is a dishonest person.

Arrived 20 mins early thought would try and see if we could get in as we had an event in Wembley in an hour and half and three teenagers wanting to get ready after a three hour drive - walked in and property was trashed! Cleaner still hadn’t been so rang the host who told me I shouldn’t of been there 20 mins early.. fair enough also informed him back that even if I arrived 20 mins later there was no way the property would of been ready or clean.. whilst on phone to him the cleaner did show up and she was shocked.. food all over the sides and floors rubbish everywhere dirty pots everywhere, toilet still had urine in, upstairs filthy.. told her we would leave so she could get it sorted in peace and came back 45 mins later wrll after check in time and she was still just doing the beds and downstairs still trashed.. told her we had to start getting ready we had to leave in an hour latest so told the teens to get ready downstairs. It was at this point the host turned up with a fan and apologised and offered to buy us a takeaway after we returned from the event (that never happened either 🙄) I decided to help and cleaned the kitchen for the cleaner washing pots and wiping sides etc and she was so grateful! Anyway by the time we left the cleaner was still there by this point it was almost two hours after check in time and needless to say extremely awkward! We arrived back after the concert and the property was clean but this should have been done before we even arrived there.. we ordered our own food and went to bed, woke up in the morning to the electricity meter beeping continuously and it went leaving us without power for the morning until we left.. messaged the host about this didn’t get a reply.. Posted this review and the host then decided to contact me and offer a partial refund if I deleted my review.. No refund was given and any further messages were again ignored. Wonder how many other people he’s tricked into deleting reviews?!

The property was very clean and upkept. Although It was just me, as a traveling like to have space and it was more than enough space for me

Quite modern.

Beds were very uncomfortable and not all double beds as stated.
