LTVery bad experience – do not book this place!
This is the first time I have ever written such a negative review, but I have no other choice. We booked a loft for 4 people (a couple and two separate guests). The description clearly listed two double beds and a sofa bed. However, upon arrival, the host demanded €50 per night in cash for the sofa bed – even though it was already included in the booking. ⚠️ Be aware: if you book for 3 or 4 separate people, the host will charge you extra because he does not allow guests to actually use all three beds as advertised. This is nothing but extortion, and we will escalate this case with Booking.com. What we actually got was not a “loft”, but a converted garage with no windows. The soundproofing was terrible: every noise from the street was audible, and inside, every time water was used, a loud water pump started running, making it impossible to sleep. On top of that, many listed amenities were missing: there was no coffee machine (although it was advertised), no kettle, and every door in the place squeaked loudly. This was our last stop in Italy, and it left us extremely disappointed. ⚠️ Travelers, do not book this place. It is misleading, uncomfortable, and very unprofessional.

ATStilvoll umgebaute Werkstatt mit schönen Details, großer Raumhöhe, und viel Platz. Ein echtes Loft, das heißt, die einzigen Lichtquellen sind die Eingangstüre und ein Oberlicht im hinteren Teil. Gute Beleuchtung, Belüftung und Klimatisierung gleichen das aus. Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Sogar einen Sonnenschirm hatten wir zur Verfügung! Die Lage in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße nahe dem Zentrum und den Einkaufsmöglichkeiten von Avola ist perfekt. Parkplätze in der Straße vorhanden. Avola selbst ist ein geschäftiger, nicht nur touristisch geprägter Ort und perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge nach Siracusa, Noto, Palazzolo Acreide, Modica, Ragusa, etc. ebenso wie zu den schönen Stränden der Umgebung. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
W-Lan wäre praktisch.
DEApartment located directly in the city center, parking without issues. Everything we needed was in place. Attentive and knowledgeable owner - great recommendations for restaurants and travel. We'd be glad to come back!
