"A reason to go back"

10.0

The apartment is very beautiful and well equipped. It is exactly like seen in the photos. Regarding the location, Ostuni can be a base to explore other towns in Puglia so it is very convenient. The location of the apartment is excellent as it is close to many shops and restaurants but also close to the parking of Ostuni. Our host was super nice and very helpful and thoughtful!

"Had a fabulous stay in Ostuni centre of old town! A must when visiting Puglia."

10.0

Love the contemporary design of a fantastic old building, with all modern facilities. Beautifully decorated; great air con, great kitchen facilities. Round the corner from the heart of Ostuni old town where all cafes and restaurants are!

Nothing!

"Perfect location and you feel like you are staying in the old town."

9.0

This property is such a great place to base yourself in Ostuni. The apartment feels like you are living in the old city with all the right additions. The kitchenette is a huge help and the little breakfast amenities they leave you are great. Its location is perfect for exploring Ostuni but it is also not too deep into the historic centre that it is a pain to get to.

The parking is included but it is street parking or paid parking at a public parking space, it’s not really an issue just hard when it gets busy in Summer.

"Beautifully designed apartment in a good location, but noisy and far from parking"

7.0

Great location (once you get there). Nice and cool despite there being extremely hot weather during our stay. Comfortable layout. While the bedroom is up on a mezzanine it is well designed and cosy. Loved the bathroom detail with the glass floor to show the archaeological site beneath the apartment (but it will probably freak some people out!).

Easy check in via a numberpad code shared on whatsapp on check in day, but it doesn't feel particularly secure and there is no chain or deadlock on the door and no safe. So we ended up carrying valuables with us when out. Noise from the street travels in extremely easily... just people passing by quietly and chatting sound like they are in the apartment with you. One key reason is that the bathroom vent is a hole in the wall which obviously lets sound right in. On the other side of the apartment (with the patio door) there is a restaurant with outside tables which also generates the expected noise. Definitely not for light sleepers unless you bring earplugs. Breakfast was just some sugary long life pastries... rather mis-sold. Most annoyingly the coffee machine didn't work... 3 coffee pods through and we only got two or three drops of coffee into the cup in total... the owner rather patronisingly suggested checking if the water had run out and then went quiet (until it was time to remind us to leave by 10am and to pay the 1 euro per night per person tourist tax to him). Happily there are lots of coffee shops nearby and some open by 7am or even earlier. Parking is rather far from the apartment (and uphill which isn't fun with heavy luggage in the heat) and you cannot drive up close to the apartment due to the ZTL restrictions which operate most of the time. We generally did ok with getting the free on street spaces the owner flagged, but be aware in the evenings it gets really busy to the point even the fairly expensive paid car park gets totally full.
