The location is great, in the evening the surrounding streets transform and there are lots of restaurants and bars open. The flat is however faced towards the inner court, so there is absolutely no issue with any noise. The flat itself was clean, well equipped and there is also a parking lot in a walking distance (5mins tops). The host is unbelievable, the communication was excellent and we've got lots of tips from her; this will be our #1 search option should we return to Catania

Struttura centralissima e davvero molto curata con ingresso su via pedonale ma affaccio più riservato e tranquillo. Primo piano alto in palazzo d’epoca ben tenuto. Arredo di alto design con elementi di gran gusto come le meravigliose lampade flos. In dotazione alla casa tutto ciò che serve alla cucina dalle stoviglie ai condimenti, alle cialde per il caffè sino alla graditissima acqua fresca in frigo ( che per soggiorni brevi come il mio non è cosa scontata). Pulizia eccellente. Parcheggio custodito a 3 minuti a piedi indicato dalla proprietaria a prezzi onestissimi. Il grandissimo pregio di questa residenza è però la host Ilenia, donna dalle rare qualità: educazione e disponibilità che vanno ben oltre il rapporto commerciale con un ospite. Ho trovato un vero esempio di turismo di relazione per il quale la voglia di tornare è concreta! Mai scelto soggiorno migliore durante i miei viaggi!

The apartment was great, so pretty decorated and in a perfect location near the bars and the street market. The owner was very friendly and ready to help us and to response to every request of us. We highly recommend it.

Very nice property and very nice owners!! Ilena picked us up from the bus station ( Alibus from airport is very convenient 4€ and leaves you right next street, there are only 2 min walking to apartment) You can find everything that you need in the apartment. The bed was very comfortable and sheets, towels clean!! Thr location is just great, very close to everything!!! ( on friday/ saturday there is a market from which we bought parmesan and other spices at very good prices! compared to other supermarkets. Could open other days too, you need to check). Netflix and wifi available, tv is great, AC in both rooms works just perfect! The kitchen is well equipped and there is coffee too :) Washing machine is available too ( for people that stay longer periods of time could be great!) Big thank you for the owner that gifted me some gluten free cake, beer and one small cute bottle of liquor! I highly recommend going to Taormina, it’s only 5€ ticket one way ( the bus station is about 15 min walking distance from the apartment : it’s in the front of the bar called (Teapot Dolce Salado) if you check on google maps it won’t give you correct information!) The bus is coming each 15-20 minutes) . All in one it was a great citybreak! I will be recommending this place to my friends as well! Thank you!!!🙏

Only downside is that the kitchen from restaurants is down and in the evening you cannot get fresh air until they finish cooking (about 11 -12 o’clock)

I LOVED everything about my stay here. From the minute I booked Ilenia was so helpful and welcoming. The communication was 10/10 - including directions, taxi, and a document with things to do/shop/eat. The flat itself was super cute!!! So clean and comfy. I felt right at home and didn’t want to leave. The little welcome snacks, drinks and coffee pods were very much appreciated. Very quiet and great location.

I recently stayed in an apartment on Via Gemmellaro, 52, Catania, and it was a delightful experience. The location is simply unbeatable! Despite the lively atmosphere in the street right in front of the building, the apartment itself is wonderfully peaceful, as it faces the backyard. You get to enjoy the best of both worlds—step outside for an energetic vibe, or relax indoors without the noise. It’s an ideal place for those who want to be in the center of it all but still value a good night's sleep. Overall, I highly recommend this apartment for its perfect balance of location, comfort, and tranquility.
