Fake Review: This is a serious issue. They wrote a fake review on my behalf, likely using a screenshot while asking for my booking confirmation pin. This is unacceptable and unethical. The rooms were unclean, with hairs in the washroom and bedroom areas. I had to switch three rooms before finally settling for the least objectionable one. The Treebo poster in the room mentioned amenities like a dental kit on request, but even after asking, it was not provided. Non-functional Facilities: The telephone in the room did not work, forcing us to visit the reception for any requirement. The water kettle was broken, and despite two requests, it was never replaced. Both the room and washroom were in dire need of upkeep. The poster promised a typical elaborate breakfast, but there was no running kitchen. Instead, we were given a substandard breakfast sourced from a nearby vendor – a portion of poha, a samosa, and a tiny paper cup of tea.

USOriginally I was planning to give the hotel a 6 or 7. But during checkout something happened that changed my mind completely. The staff wanted to see my confirmation email to check something. He took a screenshot. I only later realised this contained the confirmation number and pin. With this information someone from the hotel posted a 10 star review under my name. I reported this to booking.com customer service and they let me change the review. So now I have no chance but to give them 1 star. I believe most of the 10 star ratings this hotel has are fake.
