Veranda sul Mare

La casa è molto carina, pulita ed attrezzata. Il punto forte è sicuramente la terrazza dalla quale si vede il mare e la sera, nonostante il caldo diurno, è ventilata.Ci siamo accordati, senza problemi, con la proprietaria per il check-in e ci ha anche consigliato degli ottimi posti dove andare a mangiare. La casa è in una posizione centrale, dalla quale si raggiunge facilmente anche il porto. Le uniche cose da tenere in conto sono che non ha l'ascensore e che c'è difficoltà di parcheggio, nelle immediate vicinanze, soprattutto in alta stagione. È sicuramente una casa che consiglio per soggiornare a Castellamare!

One of the twin bed mattresses should be replaced. It is not very comfortable. This was the first Booking.com location where I had to supply the trash bin liners and paper towels so I left some for the next guest.

We stayed at this lovely two-bedroom apartment with a terrace that offered a nice view overlooking both the town and the sea. It was a great spot for enjoying a coffee in the morning or unwinding in the evening. The host was extremely polite, welcoming, and very flexible about check-in and check-out times, which was a huge help given our early and late flights. It made our travel experience so much smoother. The apartment itself is very well-equipped for a longer stay, with all the essentials you need. There are two air-conditioning units—one in the main living area and another in the main bedroom—keeping the apartment nice and cool. The water pressure from the shower was fantastic as well, which was a pleasant surprise! Despite being in the heart of the hustle and bustle of Castellammare, once you close the large glass door, it's incredibly peaceful and quiet. It’s an ideal place to relax after exploring the town. Parking was simple enough, and for the most part, we were able to park right at the door for free, which made everything much more convenient. One thing to note is the stairs leading up to the apartment. While it’s located on the top floor, we didn't find it too difficult to manage, but some might find it a bit of a challenge. It’s definitely worth it for the peace and privacy though. During our stay, the power went out one day, but we messaged the host, and she was around within 10 minutes to sort it with a smile—fantastic service! The only very slight negative was that it would’ve been nice to have a spare set of bed sheets, especially since we were staying longer. That said, we managed fine by washing them ourselves, and they dried by the evening. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely consider staying here again. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Castellammare del Golfo

The location is great - so central to everything. Fantastic terrace with a sea view. We had plenty of space for two (although we moved the table from the centre of the living space to beside the cupboard near the entrance). Great having a washing machine, a kettle and a toaster which you don't always find. All the basics like washing up liquid, cleaning materials, salt oil, pepper were provided. Its a very short walk to the main street where there are lots of restaurants , and to the seafront. We stayed for just short of two weeks and decided this is the best location in town. Below the apartment is a restaurant and a bakery and across the road a fruit and veg market. We loved the buzz of all the goings on in the street below. We didn't have any issues parking but I imagine this could be different in high season. The weather was warm for October whilst we were there and we did use the air conditioning at night.

Its all stairs up to the apartment. We didn't mind this but some people might. It would be good to have an airconditioning unit in the bedroom. There is a fan but in the height of summer this wouldn't be enough
