NZA beautiful haven in Ta Van Village, close to restaurants/cafes, the Muong Hoa river, and rice fields. The room and home was cozy and quaint, there was even an electric blanket on the bed, the courtyard area was gorgeous and inviting with lots of butterflies and flowers, and made even more precious by the resident animals - a wee cat and a wee dog. Thuong and Sa were lovely hosts! Upon realising I was going to go for a walk to find water buffalo (we don’t have them in NZ), Thuong invited me to walk with her in the afternoon and we went on a mission together to find some (successful) which I really appreciated. The home stay was peaceful and calm which was a welcome contrast to the hustle and bustle of Hanoi and Sapa town. Try some of the homemade apricot wine at sunset while sitting on the swing seat and just soak up the atmosphere. Super easy to get around, and an extremely cute place - I would 100% come back again and one day hope to bring my mum too.
AUI loved my stay here as a female solo traveller. I felt so safe and comfortable, the owner was so lovely and would check in on me if I was coming home late. Highly recommend!
