Wir waren die einzigen im Camp, daher war es eine sehr persönliche Begegnung mit den Gastgebern. Im Gespräch erfuhren wir vieles über ihr Leben hier in der Wüste, was wir sehr schätzten. Wir haben sehr sehr fein Abend gegessen. Alles haben sie selber zubereitet! Stets waren sie bemüht uns den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Später kam auch der Inhaber, ein junger Beduine, was auch zu schönen Gsprächen geführt hat. Es ist ein tolles junges Team und alles in allem war es ein tolles Erlebnis zwischen Menschenbegegnungen und die Natur Wüste. Vielen Dank Bader für alles und liebe Grüsse auch deinen Freunden. Wir haben es sehr genossen mit euch!!!

We were the only guests in camp and so it felt so much more ‘real’ and authentic. Everyone at the camp was so kind and took the time to speak with us and tell us about their life. They couldn’t have done more for us, including bringing out the double bed from the tent so we could sleep under the stars. The food was lovely - the fish curry was particularly nice. We appreciated the bread making and the campfire was just an AMAZING experience. Thank you so much Alm! You were amazing. The best part was dancing around the campfire - listening to Amr Diab. It was my favourite memory of Oman. Thank you.

you have to be prepared to sacrifice some luxuries but it’s worth it

The host was fantastic, easy to communicate with. Great facilities and overall nice experience. Best part is that it’s a small camp with only 2 tents so plenty of privacy and quiet to enjoy the desert. Best experience dune bashing and sleeping under the stars!

The spot is relatively remote so you are alone there, there s a platform that you can relax and whatch the sky or desert, the owner was very nice and helpful
