"Comfortable stay with great beds, but a few practical issues"

The place is located in Matera, about 1 km from the Old Town and the main sights. It also has a parking spot right in front of the accommodation, which was very convenient. The apartment itself is new, with fresh and modern furnishings. It was a bit cool inside (the floor was really cold), which might actually be a plus during the hot summer months. The mattresses and pillows were among the most comfortable we’ve ever had – we slept really well.
There was a coffee capsule left in the coffee machine when we arrived. Also, the fridge was missing, although the listing said there would be one. We were told it had broken down two days before our stay. We actually had quite a few items that we planned to store in the fridge, so its absence was inconvenient, especially considering the warm weather. We understand that sometimes things happen, but it would be helpful if these details were communicated in advance. Another downside was that the entire floor was quite cold and tiled. The tiles were very chilly, and we didn’t let the children walk on the floor with barefoot in socks too much, because of that, which caused some discomfort during the stay.

We loved our stay! The apartment was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed. The location was ideal — close to everything but quiet. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended!

Apartment very comfortable and clean. Equipped with everything you need. Great base for exploring Matera. Nearby there is a supermarket, pizzeria. Safe and quiet district. Very nice and helpful hosts. Recommended!
