Perfect room for 3 fellas to spend the night in athlone...10 min to centre and right beside railway station...there are no staff in attendance except between 3 and 5, but the staff in restaurant downstairs seem to be associated with the accomm management and were very helpful. They allowed me park my motorbike in the restaurant yard...very grateful for that...room was perfect...good hot shiwer (just need to wait a mijute for it to heat up...no big deal)...beds very comfy...room clean and spacious and excellent for the price (€130 for the night for 3 peeps)...access very simple by card...Wifi is free...and fast...would easily recommend 👍

Well, could have done with a bath mat for outside the shower...floor got wet easily...a small crib tho!

Cheap and cheerful and clean room, in a great town centre location. The room was spacious and there was an en suite shower provided. There is a breakfast room also, if you book a breakfast in advance.

The front door was locked on arrival. There was a telephone number on the front door and when I rang it was answered and was able to check in. Some reviewers said they would have liked tea and coffee making facilities in the room, but that was not a problem for us. There was a spare kettle left on the reception desk, for guest use and a jug of water and glasses provided. You would have to bring up your own tea or coffee, cup and milk, etc.

Room was modern, steady, quiet, and clean. I liked the view from my window.

Shower was complicated. Wasn't sure where to go to check in.

Nothing Had to go through a Chinese restaurant and upstairs to register. The first room they put us in and no heat and holes in the wall. They wanted to move us up another flight for a better room but there was no elevator and my husband could not drag our suitcases up another flight. The host had no problem at all with not having us stay there and not charging us under the circumstances. The smell throughout the hotel was beyond acceptable. I have reached out to booking.com and got no response in regards to not processing payment for a hotel we did not stay at! I will not be using booking.com again if I do not get a resolution to this issue
