Hot tub hideaway

The TV and sofa bed, nice bathroom

Went in hot tub, the hot tub was smelling and very dirty had to get the staff to clean it and it wasted hours of time

We enjoyed that it was one room with nobody else above or below like a hotel.

The tv just needs to be at the end of the bed lol

Breakfast is N/A. The location wasn't great. Although it was only 10-15 mins away from the city centre (in a car), we waited an hour for a taxi as the property was located in a domestic, residential area.

This was not an apartment! It was an extension on the side of someone's house! It was filthy, with stains on the sheets, and we even found a scrunched up toilet roll under the sofa bed that was full of blood. The steps inside the extension were damaged, and because of the rain, it made entrance to the property extremely dangerous. I have asked for a refund, but the owner has refused point blank, and booking.com (who are still advertising this property) have offered me £45.00! Absolutely outrageous from start to finish.

Me and the hubby left booking till last minute, we booked this at 4.15 and had a rapid response. Access is easy and close to asda and B&M for supplies, Towels could of done with been bigger but for the price you can not moan.

i can’t list a single good thing about this place

we didn’t know untill after we booked that we needed to give a £250 deposit which left us broke and stressed as we had done a 6 hour drive to be met with this information, after we paid the deposit on the day of arrival (7th of nov) and did not get our deposit back untill the 10th despite ringing and texting the guy each day reminding him we were just told “i’ll send it with in the hour as i’m just driving at the moment” or something similar each time then we would call again a few hours later to be told he had been drinking and he will send it tomorrow. the hot tub had a strange smell to it which only got stronger once we turned on the jets as if something passed away in it so we did not end up using it which was a huge disappointment as that’s the reason we booked. the place its self was a mess and overall disgusting it had splatters of weird brown stuff and almost clear white splatters on the floor and it smelt like old cigarette butts, walls were dirty,smoke alarm ripped off, massive stains on the sofa hair in the sink which we forgot to get a good photo of before washing our hands , used razor in the cupboard along with other stuff but we didn’t want to look or touch and more. we were not supplied with any toilet roll so ended up having to use my makeup wipes, no covering for the sky light above the bed so we were woken up at 6 am, we had to call the host to ask for the wifi as it was not given to us in the room he said it would be given to us in fifteen minutes but didn’t receive a message about it untill over 2 hours later which was only because i sent the host a message to remind him, it then did not work so we had to use all our data up, also we didn’t know it would be pretty much a shed in the back of someone’s garden. nothing like the photos e.g only one bed. the host himself came off rude, unresponsive and very unbothered about helping us over the phone which also just made us want to leave even more. i would absolutely not recommend to anyone.

There was nothing I liked

This is basically a room in someone's garden. It's advertised as having 2 double beds, but only has one bed and one sofa, which was not even made up even though 3 of us were going. The place was dirty and smelled heavily of some strong detergent, sofa and cushions stained. The bed sheets looked old and didn't smell clean, same with the towels. There was no toilet paper and the hand soap was heavily diluted with water so pretty much useless. There was no wi-fi, messaged half a dozen times with no resolution. Had to pay £250 deposit in cash (no credit card) and it took 10h for it to be returned after checking out with very poor messaging from the the contact. This is without a doubt one of the worst places I have ever stayed in and for £250 for one night I feel absolutely robbed.

the advertisement when buying from the pictures was suppose to be two double beds that’s why we paid for it as there was 4 of us and two of us had to stay on some bed settee where we didn’t get no sleep because of how hard it was and uncomfortable. However the bed was comfy when trying it. we also didn’t get told of a £250 deposit until after actually paying for it and came through like 30 mins after when we was already basically outside and used the last of our money to get food and to actually get there as the taxi charged us £15 to actually get to the accommodation from manchester city other than that was very lovely .
