Kubu Guest House

The rooms decor is great. Very cosy room. Not your typical simple aesthetic room.

When i arrived pool was a bit green and dirty. But to be fair they must have cleaned it after because in the morning the pool was back to being blue. Staff just hanging around on the bean bags at night chatting away but it looked quite unprofessional. I think one of them wasn't staff but was just hanging out there anyway.

This was a lovely spot to stay as a landing spot from the airport in Denpasar. Only 30ish minute drive and a great location in seminyak with walkability to a lot of popular spots. Staff here were excellent and the bed was comfortable. Aircon worked great. Room could have been a little cleaner though. And some hooks/bars for hanging up towels is needed.

The guesthouse was conveniently located in the heart if seminyak. You can just basically walk around at night if you don’t have a bike. The staff were lovely and helpful.

We only stayed for a night. Very cheap for $50. However, the bed and the curtains smell and the pool was not clean. There’s more places where you can get a bang for your buck. The place was not bad for an overnight stay. Only about 40mins from the airport.
