Palm House Alvor

Wat een prachtig complex. Je auto kan je parkeren in de garage en je loopt zo naar je appartement. Tuin mooi onderhouden en twee heerlijke zwembaden. Het appartement was zeer ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien. Heerlijke leefruimte, binnen maar ook buiten aan zowel de voor- als achterzijde. In de omgeving is het een mooie uitvalbasis met de auto. Ook een grote supermarkt om de hoek wat prettig was. Verder erg vriendelijk ontvangst van Sandra en goed contact gehouden via Whatsapp.

Als ik dan iets moet noemen zou de speeltuin vervangen kunnen worden. Deze heeft zijn beste tijd gehad, desondanks heeft ons kind er zich prima vermaakt. Op 2 minuten rijden is er overigens een leuk (gratis) klim- speelbos.

Amazing place to spend vacation! Beach is nearby (7-10 mins by car), very calm place with beautiful view. Comfortable house.

It would be nice to leave several coffee capsules. At least for 1 time. The rest was perfect!

We hebben een heel fijn verblijf gehad bij Palm House Alvor! Alles was aanwezig, en bij aankomst een lekker flesje wijn. Enkel een stofzuiger om af en toe wat stofwolkjes weg te doen, had handig geweest maar niet dat dit storend was. Het appartement is prachtig ingericht en voorzien van alle faciliteiten. In de buurt is alles beschikbaar, al is een auto wel handig. De communicatie met Sandra en Ana was top, erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het zwembad was mooi en netjes onderhouden, en de ligging heerlijk rustig. Zeker een aanrader!

Geen minpunten

Palm House was lovely. It has a well equipped kitchen and we were able to make some of our own meals. The outside space is great! We loved the playground right outside our back patio and the pool in the complex was a great way to end the day. It is quiet and the hostess was very friendly and responsive. She quickly answered all of our questions and provided everything we asked for.

The location is on top of a hill - so getting to the beach was more of a hike than expected, but not too bad. It's down a gravel/dirt road though so quite bumpy with a stroller but we managed.

Was a bit of a trek to centre of Alvor.

Our host was very welcoming and supportive during our stay, we couldn't have asked for anyone better. The check in and check out process was hassle free, quick and efficient. The house sits within an idyllic setting, it is beautifully presented, very clean and more than well equipped for all of our needs. The pool area is easily accessible, it is also clean and well maintained, not to mention quiet and relaxing within the secure setting. The location of the property was perfect for us. A short walk to the beach in one direction and the supermarket in the other. A slightly longer gentle walk will take you to the centre of Alvor. Busses also run regularly along the route as an alternative. Palm House was fantastic, it definitely exceeded our expectations, we have already looked at availability for our next visit!
