It was such a beautiful building, there was plenty of room all around and our room was perfect. We had our own bathroom and a fan which kept us well cool at night. The courtyard was also stunning and the common area was overlooking the street which was amazing! Also, Abu (the gentleman working on reception) was so brilliant- he was so helpful and kind, always friendly and conversational, him and the rest of the staff made us feel at home.

The only issue we had was that the wifi was very temperamental in the evening but aside from that, everything was incredible.

The water

Abu in reception and Huda in the kitchen are very kind and nice! Also the guy who worked at night was very polite and helpful.

The place is cute but needs a serious renovation, there are broken mirrors and the shower is in a very poor condition with low water pressure.

The location is great. You’re right next to the park and all the important spots, which is actually why I decided to book this hotel again.

The room was extremely small. There wasn’t even proper space for a suitcase. Things were falling from the ceiling, and in the bathroom there was some kind of brown liquid dripping from above as well. Overall, the internet was also frustrating. It was okay for getting a bit of work done, but not really good, and you couldn’t work in the room next to the kitchen. This meant that when it rained, there was basically nowhere to work. Unfortunately, the staff wasn’t very friendly either. I was offered a laundry service for 15k, but the clothes were neither dried nor ironed... they were just put in the washing machine and then handed back to me wet. My partner also complained that the communication was only directed at me. They didn’t communicate with him at all only with me, what shouldnt be, if you work at the reception. Overall, it was quite disappointing, and I wouldn’t book it again.
