Helpful staff; clean

Cheers this hotel mainly because its website said it had a restaurant. The restaurant was closed. No warning given on website or Booking.com.

The hotel was very central, which made it an ideal location. The team was friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and spacious with everything we needed.

It was a shame the restaurant wasn't in use, but that's not a negative comment, just an observation.

Able to check in early. Comfortable bed and pillows. Shutters on the windows, making the room dark for sleeping. Shower cubicle didn’t leak (as often seems to happen in hotels!) Spotlessly clean- the domestic staff are very hard working.

Allocated wrong type of room- rectified without any bother. Another member of our group, who arrived the following day, was given a key to our room in error and was able to access the room. This is careless and unprofessional. Thankfully it was a family member but would have been extremely concerning if it had been a stranger. No chairs on the balcony. Step between bedroom and en suite, almost fell a couple of times. A different colour of tile or some warning tape would help. Hairdryer didn’t work. Toiletries in sachets rather than bottles.
