Our stay as a family really enjoyed our stay at this apartment! You’re truly in the heart of Budapest – less than a minute’s walk to the iconic Szimpla ruin bar (just two buildings away!). The hosts have done everything to make the place feel cozy and welcoming, and they almostly succeeded. We were especially grateful that the hosts provided a baby cot for our 11-month-old – a thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture.

Windows do not block all the sound from the street, we was several times per night waken up by dor ring bel, or taxi cars horns. Loud music club is just bellow of appartment

The apartment was clean, spacious, well equipt, very secure, good WiFi, air con, close to public transport and shops.

There was a very popular bar opposite the apartment and this lead to a lot of noise between 11pm and approx 4am. However, we bought ear plugs from local pharmacy and this solved the issue. But the noise could be an issue if you have a young family.

The place is centrally located.

The furniture has a cheap feeling not inline with the 212 euros we paid for 2 nights. Lots of bars nearby, like szimpla kert, or the karaoke on the same side, start being really noisy between 1 and 5 am in the morning, when things start warming up. Although we are not light sleepers, we could sleep before 5, despite also improvising with some noise cancelling buds. After 5 am is quite silent only with some late drunkards passing by with some punctual shouting. It maybe an option for people who are going to party all night, but not for anyone who wants to sleep during nornal hours. We highlight the topic to the owner, she mentioned they did not have complains in the area... and refused to reimburse the money. We left anyway and had a much better option nearby for similar pricing.

I loved how clean and in place everything was! The water pressure us divine. The location is spot on, and the entire neighbourhood is filled with good bars, restaurants and pubs! Everything is just so close. A 20 minute walk from the centre which is incredible!
