L’emplacement en plein centre ville. Le parking gratuit juste à côté. Très pratique pour prendre le bateau pour les îles et pour faire les courses.

Les lits jumeaux bien pour des enfants mais trop étroits et pas très confortables pour des adultes. Car une seule chambre double et nous étions quatre adultes. Douche dans baignoire avec rideau de douche pas très agréable.

The location is very close to the general town area.

Our stay at Maison du Soleil had several significant challenges. The apartment is on the top floor with no elevator, making it very difficult to carry luggage. We arrived on the last train to Stresa, only to find out no public transportation was running. The walk from the station to the key pickup location—and then to the apartment—is far and exhausting with bags. Thankfully, we found a taxi to take us to the keys, which required watching an instructional video to open the lockbox. Inside, the air conditioning only cools one area and is highly inefficient. Lastly, for a 4-day stay, we were not provided with enough toilet paper, and the host explicitly told us they are not responsible for supplying it for the entire duration.

L'appartement est très bien conçu pour 2 couples. Il est hyper bien situé. Un parking gratuit se trouve à 50 m, un super marché à 100 m. Vous pouvez tout faire à pied. Je le conseille vivement.

Rien de spécial.

Location was perfect, right in the center so easy access to everything. The host also was fast to respond. The apartment was clean and even cool when we arrived. AC working perfectly!

Ideally we wanted to open windows and terrace doors but couldn’t because of mosquitos. Would be good to have the fly mesh on windows and terrace doors Also 1 toilet for a group of 4 so ideally to have at least 2 toilets

The inside was large and at first seemed accommodating. The bathroom was clean and some amenities were provided.

The location was in a seedy, scary neighborhood and the apartment itself, a barricaded cellar, albeit somewhat attractive, was in a seedier apartment building still, with people talking loudly and children yelling till past midnight and again at 2:15 AM in the courtyards! We had to have the windows open because we had no air conditioning and had no privacy and quiet. The air conditioning did not work at all, although we repeatedly requested and they promised to turn it on or fix it. Finally in the late evening the manager sent a lay person to fiddle with the conditioner controls but to no avail. We had to delay our sleep to accommodate this feeble attempt to 'fix' the problem, which remained broken. The remote for the air conditioner was completely broken and useless. The location was awful: seedy and scary and dirty. Hardly any light in the place, the refrigerator was disgusting, there was mold on the wall of the 'loft' which was too low to walk in. There was no bath mat for the bathroom. We were 3 elderly women yet they prepared only 2 beds. There were no extra sheets. The wifi and password we were given in the instructions on the AirBnB site by them were erroneous and we were not given any instructions on where to find the actual one. We had to find it ourselves after frustrating hours trying to connect in the one they gave us. All in all, not a pleasant stay.

3 friends stayed and specifically chose this property as it said 2 bathrooms and our 75yr old friend not only didnt have a shower or bath, she didnt have any lights and no window. We also chose the property because it said aircon. But main unit in lounge didnt work and our friend didnt have it all in her room so was very hot. We thought the apartment was good but no kettle at all,so for english people, this was hard as we couldnt make a proper hot drink easily. The balconies were lovely to sit out on in the evening. So overall not a bad stay but things need to be mended in appt.

The 2 flights of stairs with a bad knee. Would like to have all had a chair for balcony but only one.

Great location. Very clean Comfortable beds Good selection of crockery and pans and enough espresso cups for a party!

Door to the flat sticks so you have to push/pull hard to get in/out. NB you have to lift the handle in order to lock the door. Having to go to one side of town to collect the keys then to the other to access the flat while pulling suitcases ( we came by train!) A lockbox at the property would make a big difference. Ceramic floor tiles in the bathroom can be VERY slippery so be careful getting in and out of the shower/bath. No wine glasses!!

Location is great. 5 mins walk from the front, bus stop, Alibus stop (direct from Malpensa), Ferries (important here) and Carefour supermarket. Surrounded by restaurants, ice cream shops and cafes. A Michelin restaurant is in front of apartments. Well equipped kitchen. 1 bathroom with shower for all and a toilet and sink in other bathroom. Served us well just the same and good hot water. Has balconies.

Keys are placed in a coded box some 10 mins walk away from bus stop 'Chiesa'. On check out you leave keys inside of flat so no need to walk again. Kitchen needs 4 mugs for tea lovers like us. Has 2 flight of stairs but they are not tiring if light on luggage. No electric kettle but gas stove is very strong and boiling water rapidly is not an issue. Front door of apartment is unusual to lock. Door Handle needs to be put up before turning the keys.
