Charming, wonderfully cosy one bedroom apartment

Very homely feel of the accommodation. Everything was spotlessly clean and very well appointed.

When we got there we met the Steve, who is the most welcoming host. He showed us around n gave us advice on where to eat n where to visit. Such a lovely pleasant man. The cottage is so nice n the location is perfect. If we are ever in the Yorkshire Dales again we would definitely book here again. We had a great time x

There’s nothing we didn’t like, it was wonderful

This was a brilliant place to stay. Had a lovely welcome from Stephen, and shown round the property and had everything explained. Everything I needed was there - lots of attention to details, and all very clean and organised.

Nothing - it was perfect!

The accommodation exceeded our expectations. There was so much provided in terms of shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner. There was also moisturizer cream. This place wasn't a hotel yet it was a gem Coffee, tea and sugar was provided. The bed was a decent size for someone with restless legs! It was separate from the lounge. The shower was slightly on the small size but it was fine for its purpose. The lounge was great. The outside area is nice for having your meal or drinks in the warm weather.

The church clock that chimes on the quarter hour and it's right beside a small pub. Now out of season it's not that bad and it was quiet by 11 pm. But despite these points my husband and I intend going again because it is basically worth it. The location, it's closeness to Settle and the hills with their various walks.

Excellent location for a visit to the Settle area, having a great pub next door is a real bonus. The apartment is ideal for a couple and much better value and facilities than booking a hotel room or room in a pub. 15 min walk into Settle although I'd say the best pub in the area is the Black Horse next door! Host was welcoming and explained how everything worked and then left us to it.

Nothing, everything was spot on and I woudnt hesitate to stay here again.

On arrival Steve the owner welcomed us and showed us around explaining how things worked. If we needed anything we could get hold of Steve anytime. Place was lovely and perfect and we were able to preorder a breakfast from the pub for next day, along with the breakfast we also had Sunday lunch and both were excellent. Highly recommend.

Everything about the cottage is lovely, including our host, Steve, who’s clearly put a lot of thought into how to equip it. We appreciate attention to detail and it’s here in bucketloads. We were only there for two nights and we ate out on both, so didn’t cook; but had we wanted to, the cottage had everything we might have needed. It’s very comfortable, well equipped, delightfully quirky and spotlessly clean. The location is also great, tucked away behind the Black Horse pub (also excellent) with its own dedicated parking. Surprisingly quiet, given its proximity to the pub, with yet another pub only a two minute walk around the corner, also very good we’re advised. We loved it and will definitely return.
