Cherry Log Cabin

Lovely and private . Cosy log fire . Hot tub warm and not overlooked by others .

Beautiful building. Great location.

Hot tub lights didn’t work. Bedroom TV remote would not turn off the TV - that’s why the TV was unplugged we assume.

A cosy log cabin, which was reasonably well equipped. Surrounded by lovely countryside. Convenient for Swanage

Let down by a lack of attention to detail. Wifi was not working on arrival - immediately reported it and it seemed to come as a surprise to reception but no effort to try and resolve. Upon returning to reception it was closed, so no wifi first night. Reported again in the morning when it became apparent the wifi problem had been known about for some time but nobody thought to inform new guests. When I pushed the issue it was eventually followed up (accepted it was an external issue) but it only came back online late the second night. Cleaning was variable, with mould in both bathrooms and a lot of dust, hair in bathrooms and main bedroom. While kitchen had good appliances let down by a lack of some crockery and cutlery - negated the advantage of having a dishwasher. While the cabin itself was pleasant enough the area immediately surrounding the cabins is a bit scruffy.

The location is perfect for walking into Swanage. The cabin was a good size and nice it has a hot tub

The property is looking very tired and could do with some updating/general maintenance. The kitchen isn’t fully equipped and the number/selection of glasses was a mixture. The hot tub was working 100%, as one of the jets was broken (in a main seating area too)

No breakfast. Hot tub was brilliant

Check in was by security and he was not very good with the computer. about 3pm(Saturday) Took him a while to find our booking. But find it he did so there was no problem on our side. honestly, no problem.

Pretty, bright cabin in a very nice location. We enjoyed the hot tub a lot. We would definitely return.

On our second (last) night, we tried the oven but it didn't work. There isn't a coffee maker to make fresh coffee, which we missed as we look forward to our morning coffee.

Lovely Secluded spot despite being part of a larger site. Very quaint log cabin, with attention to detail both in terms of decor and things guests need when away. Loved the hot tub! Even had a beautiful Robin sit next to us in the Hot tub and sing to us!

Internet access was very temperamental.
