Nice property but has issues with leaks and dampness. Communication with management went well, very friendly team

Mould and dampness, room 105 especially damp and smelly, black mould marks on wallls, bedding smells musty. The upper floor room 224 is better but also had some damp issues in bathroom. Small things like no batteries in tv remote, no hand soap (room 105) or remote not working (old batteries) , bedside light not working, shower head needs descaling - room 224, Breakfast was nice but menu misleading stating coffee or tea AND juice but only one drink (coffee or tea or juice) was provided.

Location great. Hired a scooter from The Gong for $10nzd per day and scooted into the shops and beach in a few minutes. Restaurant across the road from the hotel. Nice pool. Padang Padang beach worth a visit but busy with tourists. Go for a coffee at the Single Fin to watch the surfers and sunset. Satu cafe great food. Thomas beach a bit quieter and worth a visit. Definitely a surf location,,
