Nest Inn

Under renovation but the first 12 rooms are very good. Spotless inside new mattress had a plastic type cover which should be standard for budget motels.

The co owner (wife) was courteous, the Inn has gone through some remodeling in their rooms. Overall our room was clean, the small fridge and microwave were clean even though we didn't use it. A/C worked well, as did the TV. It was a decent room for the price per night. Make sure to turn off the light at the door inside the room, there are plenty of mosquitoes/bugs at night that can make their way in. Inside the room, no bed bugs, which is the concern for all who read the comments and look for.

Once we came back from our trip to Alexandria Bay and settled in there was no sign of the owners to ask them for the internet access. There was no posted password and the lobby was locked with no response from the ring door bell camera after pressing the button. I used my own mobile hot spot to use the TV. The faucet at the sink and tub spout were loose but workable. Some of the toiletries such as soap and plastic cups were not there. Only a shampoo bottle and hand soap were supplied. So make sure to bring some.

The best you could hope for at this price point. Old motel updated just enough to be clean and reasonably comfortable

Staff is great. Room was clean. Good value for money.

Place (room 101) needs a little technical love. The shower leaked whilst filling the tub. Bathroom rotor needs replacement. Thing makes an awfull noise. Minor issues really.
