Ty Cwtch

We're familiar with Dolgellau having stayed a number of times but this was our first stay in a cottage. Ty Cwtch is exceptional in terms of comfort of furnishings and equipment. Certainly warm, enough though weather was unusually mild. Bed was outstanding and the bathroom was excellent for the shower and all of our needs. Used the microwave and hob, everything easy, all utensils provided, no problem at all. My wife was very happy with our stay and that's the most important assessment for me.

Nothing really. I knew about the car parking and having a short walk to the long-term car park but the permit was fine and there was little inconvenience. It didn't detract from the quality of our stay.

Loved everything, Ty Cwtch is just that, it's a The Hug everyone needs, beautiful decoration and quality furnishings, extremely well equipped kitchen every thing you could need, the saucepans and frying pan are quality and are matched well to the induction hob. it's very cosy with comfy sofa and flame effect fire, folder with all the information to help with the stay, the bed is so comfortable with plenty of drawers and hanging space, lovely touches with hair dryer and towels provided, gorgeous shower room with toilet rolls provided. A huge plus that a parking permit is provided so you can park in the carpark just 2/3 mins walk from the property. It is a very peaceful quiet place to stay. Jane has gone above and beyond to make any person happy to stay here!

Well located Ideal for visiting Dolgellau Parking outside but limited and narrow. Apparently there is a parking permit for local car park 4 mins away. Shops, take aways and pubs near by.

Absolutely nothing

We absolutely loved our stay! The cottage was incredibly clean and comfortable with lots of thoughtful touches. There was everything we needed and we felt completely at home. A great location a few minutes walk from pubs, restaurants and shops and a great base for climbing Cadair Idris.

Charming, cosy and comfortable and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed.

Backing up a narrow street to unpack the car was a bit hair raising! The car parking permit was great though.

What a lovely little cottage in a perfect location! The cottage was clean and cozy. We enjoyed our stay here, do many things to do, we definitely go back.
