Casa della Nonna

The location was good in terms of the view. The hosts (Salvatore and his family) were most accommodating and helpful. We loved the spacious outdoor balcony/terrace. My wife and I and our two adult daughters spent our evenings at home on the terrace. The additional sofa bed in living room was handy since the second bedroom bed was a tight squeeze for two people.

Walking down to the centre of town was a 20–30-minute walk. Walking back up is not for the faint hearted. Though the Interno Positano bus runs every 30 minutes, it was overcrowded most of the time. If you rent a car, then keep in mind that street parking is a nightmare so be prepared to pay approx EUR 60-80/24 hours in private parking lots. Unless your villa rental includes parking. In our case it didn't but Salvatore was very accommodating and allowed us to park in front of the house for the first few days. The Air conditioner in master bedroom was very noisy. There was no cleaning service offered. Only bed sheet and towels changed every 2-3 days.

A home away from home. Casa della nonna was certainly our home on Positano. could not have asked for a better place to relax and deal like we lived here.

The distance to town was a bit far however, had it not been raining during our stay the walk would have been pleasant.

Our stay at CASA DELLA NONNA was a wonderful experience - most notably, the spectacular view, super clean rooms/facilities, and the friendly & accommodating owners. As knowledgeable and well-connected locals, the owners helped us book various unique experiences in Positano, including cooking classes, restaurants (that were otherwise impossible to reserve), and boat rides. They were always on call when we needed help! Would 100% come here again!

Lucilla and Salvatore are extremely warm SUPER hosts and have done everything possible to make Casa Della Nonna a perfect place to stay in incredible Positano. The house is beautiful, just as in pictures, the views are breathtaking. The bedding, AC, facilities were all super comfortable. The steps to beach are easily accessible from the house and the bus stops right in front of the house.

The view from the proerty were amazing and presented Positano at its best. The property is 1st class and the hosts that live below, where nothing but helpful and available if required. This propoerty is run more of a hotel annexe than a apartment or villa. We would highly recommend.

While the location provides amazing sea views, the walk into Positano is not for the faint hearted.
