Roots Bamboo is a little slice of heaven. If you want to stay somewhere and really experience the true Jamaica.. stay here. You will feel like you're staying with your new Jamaican family. Ive been to Jamaica 4 times since July and have stayed all over the country but this please.. this now has my heart! I already can't wait to be back. You will feel home.

Nothing. Everything was amazing.

We did not eat at Roots for breakfast as we choose to frequent a local Café Collets. The food we did have was average and quite expensive for what it is. It is perfectly situated on Norman Manley Boulevard—often called “the Strip”— it is the main coastal road running along Negril’s famous Seven Mile Beach on Jamaica’s western coast. It stretches several kilometres from the Negril Roundabout down toward Bloody Bay, placing it right alongside some of the island’s best‑known white‑sand beaches, beachfront resorts, bars, and restaurants. The staff where friendly and very helpful across the whole complex. Make use of the Hotel to Airport transfer option via the hotel, great price and reliable.

I did not like the bar price increase at 20.00hrs without notification. The Red Stripe Bottled Beer went from JAM $ 500 to JAM $800.

I had a problem with the room I booked and got a room upgrade, that was good management. The bed was comfortable and the rooms are as good as they look. The food is okay. It was fair stay. Not sure I would return.

There was no-one on property until 9am in the morning. No-one to tend to the guests at all.
