The Loft

Great location. Owners keen to ensure all was ok .

Location was perfect and a cosy retreat from the storms! Host tipped me off about the fish and chip van on Thursday - delicious!

Bit of a hairy drive for city folk! The mattress (single bed) took a while to warm up so a bit chilly on the first night, then it got too toastie and we turned the heating off. Hadn’t realised there wasn’t an oven and pub didnt serve food Sunday or Monday evenings but survived on pasta!

Everything was good

Not things that I didn't like but a couple of small suggestions: - a tea towel would have been useful - The wall-mounted radiators had a control panel which I didn't understand. It was not really a problem as I just turned them on and off at the mains, but a small manual would have been useful.

There was a great use of space. Contemporary furnishings and a very comfortable bed.

We had a lovely, relaxing stay at The Loft. Ginny, Ray and their dog Woody, were extremely welcoming and offered us some great suggestions on local spots to visit. The Loft is set in a lovely location, quiet and picturesque and close to great walks. It's well-appointed with everything you need, we cooked in the kitchen and felt very at home.

Property was comfortable and decor was fantastic. Lots of teas, coffees and other bits and pieces provided. Would definitely stay again if coming to the area.
