Nothing. Everything was a nightmare

1. Bathrooms were extremely dirty, 2. Showers were inconvenient as the holders would not lock, 3. We weren’t greeted by the host at check in at 3:15pm but rather by a rude and arrogant maid named Nina. She told us to leave our bags and come back at 4:30pm as the apartment wasn’t ‘ready’ To our disappointment, we did not come back to a clean apartment after waiting an extra 1 hour and 15 mins to check in. 4. Check out time was super early, the maid demanded that by 9am we would be out but when discussed with the host we agreed at 9:45. On check out day at 9:20, the maid opened the door and started to go through each room with our personal belongings in them. 5. Not equipped to host any type of guest. No adequate drinking glasses, no kettle, insufficient toiletries and the list goes on.

Good location as far as walking to the City Centre was concerned

We've had many City breaks in Italy and Sicily and love walking the City, meeting local people and eating out late. However, returning to the apartment in the early hours and then not being able to sleep because of the constant noise outside, due to people partying. The picture shown of the street on your site does not show the dozens and dozens of restaurants and outside tables filling the streets outside the first floor apartment. Air conditioning only in one bedroom and we use two!!! OK for people who like the heat and want to stay up all night.
