Very comfortable stay and very friendly family. Breakfast was very nice and the room was clean. The location was a bit far from the beach it was very tranquil and we had a great sleep without noise.

The window curtains were a little see-through so they didn't offer too much privacy.

"The best homestay in srilanka, yet still not overpriced 💜"

- lovely family, great breakfast (everyday something different), welcome drink - wifi available, not always working but mostly yes - comfortable rooms and toilet, everything super clean - indoor and outdoor chill area

- one minor thing, they have glass door to the rooms so if someone is in the common area and the light is on, it’s not so easy to fall asleep, but that’s easily fixed with dark curtains (they have light curtains in the doors)

The house was in a great location, just 8 minutes within a walking distance to the center. It was very clean and big, with comfortable beds and a nice dining room. The bathrooms were also good! The housemates were a lovely couple, that offered us traditional Sri Lankan coffee as a welcoming treat, a wonderful gesture! They also have huge speakers that the guests can use to play some music! The breakfast was really nice, different than expected!

The beds where very comfortable & the house very cozy, we liked staying a little more outside the lively area. Only 12 minutes walking distance to Hiriketiya beach and 25 to Dickwella beach. Or you can ask the family to fix you a tuktuk for a good price. The family that owned the place was super friendly and we absolutely looooved the local breakfast served every morning. Thank you for that! We were very happy about this accommodation!!

Nothing we cared about, but the room was on the smaller side and mosquitoes came in though the open bathroom window and therefore sometimes in the room. But there was mosquito nets attached to the beds, so there was no problem. Overall a problem in Sri Lanka & nothing to worry about.
