The Mirror House

Nothing to complain about… The house was clean, comfortable and in a perfect location. It features all of the necessary equipments for kitchen, laundry etc… the host was very responsive and helpful. Satisfied with this booking, highly recommended!

Perfect location for exploring the island. Lovely owner who looked after me so well without being intrusive. The bakery across the street had great bread, snacks and coffee and a wonderful host in Angie, who always seemed happy to see me and recommended some great beaches to visit. I left feeling part of the family. Would 100% come back to The Mirror House again. Felt sad to have to leave.

L’hôte était vraiment très gentil. Nous n’avons rien à redire. Les équipements étaient parfaits et le village était calme.

Curat, spatios si gazda foarte amabila. Locatia a fost utilata cu tot ce e necesar unui sejur prelungit.

Η κοπέλα που εχει το κατάλυμα παρα πολυ ευγενική, φιλόξενη, οτι χρειάστηκαμε μας βοηθησε! Το σπιτι πεντακαθαρο, με ολα όσα χρειάζεται να εχει ενα σπιτι, πολυ ομορφο, ειναι οπως φαινεται στις φωτογραφιες. Το κρεβάτι πολυ μαλακό, αν εχεις κλειστά τα παραθυρα εχει πολυ καλη ηχομόνωση, ενω δίπλα ειχε ενα πανηγύρι δεν ακουγόταν τιποτα μεσα στο σπιτι. Απέναντι εχει εναν φούρνο με πολυ ωραια πράγματα και ωραίο καφε και παρα που μαζεύει κόσμο τονπρωι μεσα στο σπιτι δεν ακούγαμε τιποτα. Ξεπέρασε τις προσδοκίες μας, είναι απο τα καλύτερα καταλύματα που έχουμε μείνει στα 4 χρόνια που ερχόμαστε Κεφαλλονιά. Πραγματικά μονο τα καλύτερα λογια μπορώ να πω και σιγουρα οταν ξανα έρθουμε θα προτιμήσουμε το κατάλυμα αυτο με.κλειστα ματιά!

In questo appartamento ci siamo trovati benissimo, tutto perfetto. Pulizia eccezionale e proprietari gentilissimi e disponibili. Valsamata è una cittadina in una posizione strategica, a 10 minuti da Argostoli e vicino a moltissime spiagge stupende. Consigliamo questo appartamento a tutti gli amanti della natura, è immerso nel verde e ai piedi delle montagne. Ottimo per chi cerca privacy. Comodissimi anche il bakery proprio davanti a casa, dove si possono gustare ottime specialità tipiche e un buon caffè e il mini market dove si può andare anche a piedi, fornito di tutto il necessario. Insomma ogni cosa è stata perfetta e avremo un ricordo speciale di questa vacanza. Torneremo sicuramente. Ringraziamo ancora i proprietari per la loro cordialità. Alessandra e Alessio

The property was very well equipped. I didn't do much cooking, but it had everything I needed to cook a full meal - if I had wanted to. It had dishcloths, tea towels, washing up liquid, cling film, foil etc all the things I needed without having to go out and buy them. I was also left some baked treats, honey, chocolate spread, fruit and drinks in the fridge by the lovely owners. The weather hadn't really got too hot when I stayed, but I imagine this apartment would be lovely and cool in the hotter months without even needed to use the aircon. The bedroom especially, stayed very cool. The bed was very comfortable and the large room had more than enough storage for my needs. The bathroom was modern and even had a bath and a washing machine in there. The location was a great base to explore from. I visited lots of places of interest within 30 to 40 minutes by car and walked to the Monastery, restaurant and Winery in less than 25 minutes. The village had a lovely bakery across the road, with fresh baked goods to either eat there, or bring back to the room. The little supermarket was just a few doors down the street and had all I needed. The WIFI connection was also very good, and as a solo traveller who used it to WhatsApp my husband each night, this was very much needed.

There was nothing I didn't like. I would definitely stay there again.

The mirror house is very modern and beautiful. It was very clean. There is a washing machine which is really good. Everything you need is there. The landlady and her family were very nice. Opposite there is a bakery which has fantastic bread. At the street a few meters ago there is a little kiosk. With the car you can reach the next beach in 20 minutes. We feel very good and in good hands. We had a really nice holiday there!
