North Laine Townhouse with Jacuzzi Hot Tub

Great location and a really well designed property

The stairs up to the mezanine level require a lot of care when going up or down, especially if you're carrying anything. Anyone not too good on their feet should not consider sleeping up there! Shower was either off or just scalding hot, nothing inbetween.

Very spacious, very nice perk having a hot tub, but due to the weather, unfortunately, wasn't able to go in as no shelter 😢 but will book again in the summer, lots of restaurants close by and I'm a nice location, it's a lovely property and very quirky 🤪 with so

The stairs to the bedroom were very steep and wouldn't recommend for someone over 60, not enough foot support I'd say, but a great property otherwise

We had the most amazing time here! Every little detail of the aesthetics of the house is just brilliant! It’s beautiful and modern and quirky! There are a few things in the property that need redoing or sorting out such as wires from where speakers used to be, a patch on the wall that needs repainting but this did not effect our stay whatsoever and let’s face it who’s house is ever completely finished!? The hot tub/jacuzzi was the selling point for us and having this just made our whole weekend! It was so relaxing and gave us time to chill instead of sitting watching TV. The location is spot on, so much right on the doorstep and so much more just a walk away. So so so nice will definitely be staying again!

I wouldn’t say there was anything I disliked about the property however a couple of things I will say….(again didn’t effect our stay at all, and didn’t bother my partner at all; just me) but there are duck feather duvets and pillows which are obviously luxurious however I am allergic and use anti allergy bedding at home so just bare that in mind for your stay if you’re also allergic. And the stairs up to the mezzanine floor are rather steep, again didn’t effect our stay and wasn’t a problem just bear in mind if your mobility isn’t great. But aside from that the property is beautiful!

Great Location. Hot tub was amazing although not all the jets worked. The apartment was quirky and to begin with, we liked the overall look and feel.

No curtains in children's bedroom. Towels provided were small. No lamps so had to leave big lights on for kids to find their way to the toilet in the night. Drawers and cupboards were full of clothes - I assume they were the owners and not the previous occupant. Food and ice-cream in kitchen cupboards/freezer - guessing again they belonged to the owner. Felt odd, like we were intruding in someone's home. Worse of all, someone tried to let themselves into the apartment whilst we were there to drop laundry off. The stairs were narrow and steep so we were using the dining area to dress in. I advise, for your own safety, that you don't do this!

Location is great, bed in loft was extremely comfy. Easy to access. When we were in the property most of our time was spent on the ground floor, it was lovely to be able to open the bifold doors to get the breeze and fresh air. We only contacted the host to get the WiFi code and they responded quickly.

It's a nice property but needs a bit more tlc. Got the impression they are either in the middle of redoing some things or getting ready to stop hosting. Things that didn't affect our stay but were a bit disappointing: A lot of exposed wall plugs where speakers(?) have been removed from the wall. Plant wall missing and the wall had been plastered but not painted and a random wire hanging out below it. All wardrobes full of hosts belongings. Hot tub seems to turn itself on sometimes? (We are not hot tub people, maybe this is normal to keep the temperature? But it did confuse us.) Otherwise I can't comment on the hot tub as we didn't use it. Some of the furniture was different from the images, the only disappointing one was the sofa which looks amazing in the images but instead was a ikea sofa bed. Some pet hairs on the sofa bed. Things that did affect our stay: Self catering accommodation didn't have any cooking utensils (spatula, wooden spoon, etc). Huge stain on one of the towels None of the deadlocks on the front door line up so you can't deadlock it. Kitchen drawers are a bit dirty inside and we had to clean a frying pan ourself as they both had dirt/food left on. Bottom two steps on the staircase seem to bow a lot when you step on them. Pull out futon mattress is very thin and not comfortable. I have to add that we did NOT contact the host about any of these things, we just worked around it as we really wanted to spend as much time going out and exploring. I'm sure if we did contact them they would have addressed some of the issues. Overall it was a fine stay, a good base but like I said needs a little more tlc and cleaning. If you're looking to find a nice property to sleep in whilst you go and explore Brighton you shouldn't have many problems here.
