GBThe location was just fine as we went to a local restaurant which we walked to and Hawick isn’t very big so everything is walkable.
The close door doesn’t lock so anyone can get in so not very secure. The lock works and the wood surrounding the frame could be easily fixed. There is no lighting in the stairway just some reflective strips. Lights in the stairway had no bulbs. A muggers delight at night with no secure main door and zero lighting. We had to use our phone as torches. The flat and one next door are nightly lets so surely they can get onto the factor or sort these issues. The property itself wasn’t clean. There was dust over things in the lounge and the living room light was missing a bulb. The bathroom shower was very dirty with the bottom around the tiles being almost black between tiles. The bed had no headboard just couple of pillows to the wall so that wasn’t comfortable. The wooden laminate flooring is broken at parts and the flat is definitely needing some of the rental revenue spent back on the property. The couch is pretty gone in the middle and the bathroom needs a total refit. The toilet is badly needing deep cleaned as the mold is very evident. I wouldn’t stay again. It’s neither stylish or clean.

GBSuch a beautiful and clean flat Flat was next to everything that we needed The hosts was absolutely lovely via conversations always there to help when needed All the essentials that needed in the flat was there for our arrival The hosts left us two electric heaters outside the flat door due to the radiators in the lounge and bedroom not working
The noise from the people outside and there behavior was absolutely horrific but I guess thats normal due to pubs and staying on a busy highstreet. Had a problem boxing day night with my car as I had my car damaged when it was parked outside the flat so for anyone staying and parking outside just be cautious. Couldn't really fault anything else as everything else was up to standards
