Great location, friendly and efficient staff, good breakfast with lovely view.

We stayed in room 6 which was freshly renovated which was great but two things made it a poor night's sleep: there was a noise coming from behind the bathroom, probably caused by heating or a generator which went on all night and could be heard even with earplugs in, and there was a small green button light in the corner of the ceiling probably related to the smoke alarm or some sort of safety feature but it was incredibly bright - so much so that we had to cover our eyes with t-shirts in order to sleep. Not ideal!

Excellent location & really well presented

Shower water was very cool on the 1st night however they rectified this issue

Exceptionally friendly staff, very welcoming, easy to follow house rules, was very cosy in the restaurant and bar areas.

There were items not available on the menus which was a little disappointing and led us to eat elsewhere in the town.
