Nirvana Green Peace Home

Lovely family and amazing atmosphere with great music in their restaurant, which I had access to in my room as well. I enjoyed my stay there so much, that I stayed for two weeks! After that I recommended this place to everyone who asked me about a good place to stay in all the other 6 weeks I stayed in Kathmandu (involved in courses and spiritual practices). Also I loved having access to the kitchen, which was even called “my kitchen”. Thank you so much for your metta!

The only thing that wasn’t perfectly fine, was that the floor in my room was not exactly even (what you’ll only feel if you’re practicing yoga in the room).

I booked a room on booking, but it was very hard to find this hotel, but I was told that the room was gone, and then I arranged another room for us. There was no soap, toothbrush, towel, hot water, and even the toilet did not even have water, and there were frequent power outages. Disconnected, this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in Nepal, bar none!

Property is located in thamel and it’s very convenient and time saving to get to one place to another. There is a restro right beside the hotel which is very good. They have nepali cultural shows running every day which is really worthwhile to watch. (and a giant screen too for watching sports)

Rooms could be better. The property has options for shared washrooms but washrooms aren’t very clean. Also with the ones having washroom attached with the room aren’t clean either. In our case the flush wasn’t working. Rooms are very congested but it was okay considering the price it was offered at.
