Blue Bird Resort

We stayed one week at the blue bird. Very peaceful place. Clean rooms. We had the two double rooms 1st floor. We really loved the boombox look of it and the balking in front where you can sit outside in front of your room. The resort is about 15 minute walk from shops/ market and ATM. 10 minutes from the best diving center (barefoot) on the island. Around the property there are enough restaurants (try anju coco next door!) and bars to visit. The staff was very helpful for example arranging moto’s and tickets for the boat. There are just nice and understand their job. Always somebody on the desk also.

Nothing. Except the restaurant. We went one night to the restaurant because the person running it was not bringing a positive vibe. We did not feel welcome. During night time unnecessary loud music coming from the restaurant also. Could be a nice place with more light furniture and the option to sit outside in the shade.

Great hospitality, sumptuous food and staff are very nice and polite.

The resort is located in a nice place. Staff is very friendly and the place is clean and hygienic. Food is also good. Overall would highly recommend

The owner was a little rude when we asked about pickup from jetty because I didn't inform him 1 day before arrival. If the pick up can only be arranged if informed one day before then please clearly mention that in description.

Wish this hotel was on the other side of the road, then we would have had the direct access to the beach. In this case, one needs to cross the street, walk around 50 mtrs and get to the beach through some other resort.
