Teresa's Cottage

AMAZINGLY renovated and fitted out cottage. Stunning interior decoration. SO cosy. You would be happy to be inside for the whole stay. It was just gorgeous. and beautiful vibe.

Property had everything we wanted / needed for our stay. Bill was fantastic and always available to offer advice on where to go for food etc

Very modern, clean and comfy. Great quiet location, just a stone throw from kilcolgan. Bill, the property manager was very very kind, respectful of our privacy and extremely helpful and informative. Plenty of cooking appliances and amenities, even got fresh milk and scones on arrival. Hot water bottles on our beds too was very thoughtful for this time of year although the cottage itself has great heating. Excellent value for money

Absolutely everything, Teresa’s Cottage is stunning, every detail thought of by host Bill. The setting is amazing in a beautiful countryside. Peaceful, relaxing Christmas break. Highly recommend a stay you most definitely will enjoy this cottage .

Everything was excellent, nothing not to like.

Wish we could have met Bill in person as very responsive and friendly on the phone. We were sorry we missed his visit and appreciated his nice note. The cottage was fully equipped and it was great to find scones awaiting us and some other sundries on a prettily laid table for breakfast the next day. Nice layout for two couples traveling together, even with a single bathroom. We enjoyed the fire and comfortable living area and well equipped kitchen. Had a fabulous dinner at the recommended Moran's. The country setting (including nearby donkeys!), with walks out the door, suited us and was centrally located to all we came for (such as the Cliffs of Moher by sea, the Burrens, St. Kilmacduagh, Leamaneh Castle, Ballyvaughan, Maumturk Mtns, the 12 Bens, Galway, Kylemore Abbey, Roundstone, Clifden). In wild and wooly weather, it was very good to head "home" to cozy lodgings.

The location was beautifully set in the countryside. The cottage has a great amount of space and a great base to travel around Galway. The place had so many utilities, we had everything we needed for the trip. The host, Bill, sent us so many great recommendations, which were so helpful! He also dropped in to check in, which was great! We arrived with a table set up with baked goods, butter and the core amenities - great Irish hospitality. The beds were comfortable, and it is a quiet location, making it easy to sleep in. It was a lovely place to rest from Storm Amy, with beautiful places a short drive away. We went to Kinvarra for coffee in the morning, and the famous Moran's restaurant is a short drive away. The pictures are accurate; it actually felt a lot bigger on the inside. All in all, a great place to stay, and we highly recommend it and would return.

The temperature did drop a bit during our stay, and the heating control was a tad temperamental. But we managed to get by in the end. The instructions were there for everything, so perhaps it was us not reading them very well!
