Very good. Choice and plenty of food, cleanliness and friendly staff.

I have joint problems (knees) and back and climb to the top floor was too much. A very sweet student helped me with my luggage. Without her I would have been in trouble! Perhaps I should have explained my predicament when booking on line. Otherwise the visit was very good and enjoyable!

Sidney is a beautiful college that I know well. It is very central and the staff are always wonderful and very helpful.

Mattress sub par. I requested fresh towels during my 5 night stay but now were provided despite the good intention of the porter. Another porter slammed me for requesting an iron: I pointed out that the key was offered on a commercial and not student basis so expectations were different. My room was not serviced during my stay.

Perfect position in the centre of Cambridge. Excellent opportunity to stay in college surroundings. Staff on reception were so helpful and accommodating. Room was quiet and a nice temperature. I was staying after an event at the college and it was very convenient and easy to book. Breakfast was ok, with plenty of attentive staff

My room was small as expected with shared bathroom and toilet. Both facilities were small and a bit tricky to use, especially the shower. Was not a major problem but very different experience from a hotel with en-suite. The bed was a little harder than I am used to but I slept fine. I would have preferred a room that did not require climbing so many stairs or leaving site to use a lift. I had not been aware that this would be the case when I booked and it would have been useful so I could make a request for no stairs.

Fabulous location and personally I loved the room I was given which was in the 1960s halls. It was exceptionally cold outside but they had whacked the heating right up which was great given the acres of single glazing involved with 1967. Really great cooked breakfast in the dining room. All in all a terrific experience.

Could have been cleaner but it's had 50 years of students living there so given that it's excellent. Nothing not to love really.
