Feeling safe inside the building. Lovely apartment with very nice shower.

As women, we didn't feel safe to be able to walk to groote Schuur Hospital and close by shops, but Uber was exceptional.i

It was affordable, had a washing machine & dishwasher. House keeping was kind enough to give an extra duvet upon request. Has a well functioning gym & swimming pool. Conveniently accross a shopping complex. Quiet and peaceful.

The room was dusty, lounge carper was dirty, no house keeping for my kind of stay( 6 days - which was not communicated until I was made to give 24 hours notice, waited & then the reality…) which explained the cockroaches! No air conditioning, only fans blowing warm air & noisy. The property is next to a gas station which had a backyard full of bins that attracted huge & noisy rats, when you open windows you can actually smell what ever was baked or fried from the garage + the flies that came in through windows too. Only a few towels were provided. I guess I was expected to use the washing machine to wash & reuse the towels and linens. And no backup power

There's a really nice roof top area with a pool and a gas BBQ and seating. The apartment itself was really spacious and comfy. The security staff were very helpful when I needed to charge up my power pack - they did it for me overnight. Thank you!

Although I asked to check in early, they could not meet my request. They would not let me check in before the scheduled time of 3pm. When I attended the property around 15:20 it was not ready! I had to wait until 4:15pm before the room was ready. It had been cleaned thoroughly. However, the cleaning products that they used had a very strong smell like men's aftershave (yuk!) and the odour remained for a couple of days afterwards. There is a washer-dryer. The dryer didn't work.

The apartment was clean and well equipped, it was beautifully furnished and had everything we needed.

I did not like the area, the security told me it isn't very safe so my son and I stayed inside for our entire stay.

Overall the experience was great. The host were amazing. The small issue we had were unfortunately there were roaches, not a horrible infestation but noticeable. Also there was leak under the lower cabinet area that could not be resolved. Otherwise the house and host are super.

It was perfect very clean and the beds was very comfortable

There were a couple of maintenance issues in the flat, such as leaking water and possibly a roach issue--I didn't see any roaches, but my partner did say he saw some.
