La casetta di Alessandro

Alessandro was a great host. The apartment is at a very good location, was spotless clean and has everything you would at home if you need to cook or have a meal without leaving the apartment. It also has a little terrace in case you feel like eating or having a coffee outside. Host was always available for any questions or recommendations. Note: parking is in the street not at the property, one of the days in our stay was raining really bad and we could not find any spots in our street so had to park several blocks away, other than that we had no issues.

Really comfortable place, with full kitchen, comfy bed and a quiet location a short drive to the City Centre. There is parking available outside the apartment and Alessandro was really lovely and provided some nice restaurant recommendations.

Not a dislike, but the shower is a hand held one (with bath tub), so it can be awkward if you're not used to it as it doesn't have a higher bracket to put the shower head.

An excellent location for a very good price in such a popular tourist destination as Matera - 20 minutes on foot from the historic center as well as from the vibrant center with restaurants, bars and cafes. Alessandro was in contact with us via whatsapp and upon arrival, he and his father were waiting for us in the apartment to show us everything. The apartment is modern, perfectly clean and has everything that a person could need. We could park the car on the street directly at the entrance to the apartment. We definitely recommend

The accommodation was generally excellent, especially the small outdoor terrace.

The internet was slow; it would be good to improve this, but it did not bother me much since I am not addicted to the internet.

Comfortable bed with nice pillows and soft blanket. Good air conditioning.

The water pressure wasn’t great.

The property is almost new. It is very clean and tidy. Also it is very comfortable for a group or family of 4. It has all the facilities one should expect in a proper way and the owners are very kind and attentive. You can walk to the city center (25 mins approx) or go by car and parking is pretty easy. The lodge is remodeled so it is very cozy and pleasant. We had a very nice stay in Matera which is an really incredible site and town.
