Flag Hotel Lisboa Sintra

The location. Very close to the main roads which was a plus for my needs.

I stayed at Flag Hotel in Sintra, and it was a very disappointing experience. The price is far too high for the quality of the facilities, room, breakfast, and service. The room was heavily worn, with degraded walls, a damp bathroom, and overall poor maintenance. The breakfast was very limited, and despite the effort from the staff, who were kind, they were overstretched and lacked proper training in handling guest issues. For example, I left a “do not disturb” sign on the door from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and the room was never cleaned. When I complained, I was told it was my fault, and for 10 hours, no one checked if something was wrong. In addition, the bathroom had no emergency cord, which is a serious safety risk. Overall, the price is far too high for what is delivered. I do not recommend it. There are better options nearby, even if a bit more expensive. I will not return.

There is parking right in front of the entrance that is comfortable. Good breakfast and coffee machine 24/7.

Not very spacious room.

Friendly and helpful, productive too as they all perform multiple roles, taking care of reception, dining area, kitchen and even cleaning the floor! Yet they are all so cheerful 😊

No kettle in the room
