The hot tub is shared and not next to the hut so it loses you some privacy and individuality

We arrived ( I have been ongoing cancer treatment )so needed a break . We arrived and found the owner very rude . Firstly she had no manners and spoke to us abruptly on a number of occasions . We arrived at 3pm and left at at 10 am . We went in the jacuzzi 8.30 - 9 am and put our music on our phones very quietly Caroline can down and moved our spring water from the side and said “ most people are still in bed this time ! Then said we were not allowed in the jacuzzi. So we had an awful break when my partner works full time and we needed a well needed rest !
GBLovely little hut, really well thought out and has everything you need. Hob heats quickly so we were able to cook some lovely dinners there. Own shower and toilet was a lovely touch and the shower was lovely and warm. Has everything you need. Hot tub was fab and as other guests weren’t using it we didn’t have to stick to the rota. Owner was very understanding when we pulled the lid back wrong too (our fault for not paying attention when she showed us) Also a great little pub just a 15 min walk away that does a fab carvery. Bus stop for trips into Glastonbury or street is also just a 10 min walk away.
Just personal preference but the mattress was a little firm, think a mattress topper would make all the difference to a comfier stay but if you like a firm bed this won’t bother you. No wifi but plenty of dvds to watch to keep you entertained in the evening
GBthe bed was very comfortable, good matress and quality bedding, the hut was beautifully decorated, the shower was excellent, both powerful and easy temp change, Fire was lovely. crockery very nice. lovely host. super hotub

GBGBGBThe shepherds hut was beautiful! Very clean inside and the bed was very comfy. The host was very friendly and came out to check I had everything I needed.
I was really excited to use the hot tub but the water smelt abit stagnant.. it didn’t affect the use but I was aware of it.
