Food was reasonably priced and good. Serene location. Off beaten path. Good views over lake. Friendly owner. Relaxing. Immersed in local nature.

Owner's children always hanging around common areas with very loud and disrupting applications on their phones.

It’s in pure nature, really astonishing view. It’s also near to the Ometepe watefalls.

Internet is only good during the day, in the night, when there are more users, it’s not so good.

"Authentic place off the beaten track"

It's a family-run Hostel/Homestay with very friendly owners. Super cool and very authentic, located in the jungle where you have screaming monkeys in the morning and fireflies in the evening. Amazing view over Concepción volcano. You can eat here or at Comedor Cristina 300m north fairly cheap. Tap water is drinkable. It's pretty quiet and not as frequented as other parts of the island. Showers and toilets are in the rooms, just as fans and power plugs. It's near to San Ramón waterfall and Maderas hiking trail.

They have a few dogs which will definitely bark at you the first time you come, also you should not be super sensitive to having a few insects in the room (due to location...). You also hear the jungle at night. If you don't speak ANY spanish it could be hard to communicate. Getting there is a little hard, probably best to rent a scooter in Moyogalpa and drive yourself.

Had a great stay at La Gloria. Calm place in a remote and extremely beautiful location surrounded by greenery just in front of the lake. Great spot for sunset. The food at the restaurant is very good too, highly recommend

Amazing staff! David and Andres were great! Food and fresh coconut water (directly from the trees) were refreshing Kids were adorable and full of energy (play football and swim in the lake with them) Lake and hammock 50m from the reception Most authentic Nicaragua experience we had Good wi-fi all around
