Beautiful views. Excellent breakfast. Very clean.

We liked everything about the property.

- Location is great (stunning views of the hills and vineyards around) - Great, cozy bedroom with all the amenities you want, and with a lot of sunshine coming from the large window - Very nice common areas (living room, kitchen) - Absolutely stunning swimming pool, large enough for all guests to enjoy some good summer days - Plenty of parking space on the property - Absolutely lovely breakfast, with so many homemade treats and local products - Nicest host I've ever met in this kind of accommodation. The lady who welcomed us was as nice as she could be and made us feel at home the instant we checked in

- You'll need to rely on a GPS to get to the place. It's not a problem for us, but bear that in mind. - Stunning views of the Douro Valley vineyards mean steep and narrow roads. Be prepared for a narrow trail on the last stretch just before the property gate

Nach etwas kniffliger Zufahrt ein herzlicher Empfang durch Patricia. Diese erst 3 Jahre alte Casa mit einem sensationellen Ausblick in die Weingärten des Douro hat uns wirklich positiv. überrascht. Die Einrichtung ist geschmackvoll und mit viel Liebe zum Detail vorgenommen worden. Der Zufall hat es gewollt, dass wir die sehr großzügige Anlage mit Pool, Liegen, Schirmen und Terrasse für uns alleine hatten. Die größte Überraschung war das ausgesprochen umfangreiche Frühstücksbuffet. Patricia stand mit Tipps zu Ausflügen und Restaurants jederzeit zur Verfügung. Diese Unterkunft mit ihren 7 Zimmern können wir uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Pequeno-almoço fantástico. Muitíssimo bom, com enorme variedade e diversidade. A piscina e o espaço envolvente muito acolhedores e relaxantes. A simpatia do pessoal foi incrível e ajudaram muito em tornar a estadia ainda melhor.

Apenas a cama poderia ser melhor, fazia muito barulho com o mínimo movimento. Sem qualquer culpa do alojamento, mas a estrada de acesso à casa é muito estreita e em determinados momentos parece quase assustadora.

Casa extremamente limpa, muito bem decorada e acolhedora. A anfitriã é uma querida: no dia da meia maratona preparou-nos o pequeno-almoço bem cedo e, no final, ainda nos permitiu regressar para tomar banho e descansar um pouco. O nosso muito obrigado por toda a simpatia e atenção. Estava tudo maravilhoso!

Our stay at Casa da Marucas was truly unforgettable. Patricia has a heart of gold — she is incredibly warm, welcoming, and makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The house is new, beautiful, and impeccable, the views are spectacular, and her hospitality is like no other, especially with the delicious homemade and locally baked Portuguese treats that made the experience feel so authentic and special. She will also give you the best tips for the area, if you want. In my opinion, the last minute before you enter the gate is the tightest part but my husband was not bothered by the road at all. 100% recommend!

A lovely lovely stay! The property is very new, beautifully decorated and super clean. Patricia was a superb hostess and treated us as family. She has thought of everything for the lodge even down to embroidery on the bed sheets and towels. Such a fine detail. Our breakfast every morning was superb and totally unexpected. We had a lovely selection of cold cuts and cheeses along with tomatoes. We love the cereal, yogurt and fresh fruit, not to mention the home baked cakes every morning. Patricia also made a special trip to the bakery to get us Portuguese goodies. What a wonderful dream come true for you Patricia🥰
