Olu bunk

Really nice accommodation and even nicer family who hosted - they were super friendly, helped me rent a scooter and even drove me to pick it up. The room was great and kitchen facilities were nice and clean. Definitely recommend.

Very comfortable room and bed, with good lighting. Nice little balcony area to hang out on too. The host and his family are really friendly. Also a great kitchen space with a fridge is always great.

A little bit noisy sometimes because it's beside the road but it's not that bad.

Didn't have a TV in the room

We had a wonderful stay at Olu-bunk! It's run by the loveliest family, who were always available to assist with anything and made us feel incredibly welcome. The rooms are in very good condition and very clean. We had the chance to try Sri Lankan tea, and the breakfast was delicious, all at a very reasonable price. The property is within walking distance to Dickwella Beach and just a short tuk-tuk ride away from Hiriketiya Beach. We couldn't have been more satisfied with our stay! We truly wish we could have stayed longer☺️

In our family, there are 2 adults and 3 very picky children (4yo and teens). Chamara organized a punctual transfer from Mattala Airport, the journey took a little over an hour. We were greeted by a very friendly, intelligent and very kind family. The wife cooks very, very delicious food. I ate very tasty hoppers, Kiri bath, pol sambola, dhal curry, string hoppers, roti, sweets etc. Lots of gifts. Chamara offered lots of help, such as bringing water and exotic fruits. We used two beautiful clean rooms, a balcony, and a large spacious kitchen. The rooms have good air conditioners and fans. In the large room, there is a kettle, tea, coffee and dishes. The owner brought a new refrigerator. The kitchen has everything necessary to cook and eat. There is even a washing machine. We had everything we need. The supermarkets are 700-900 meters away. Chamara's advices were very helpful - where to go, where to eat, what to see. Within walking distance, there are 3 great beaches: Turtle Point Bathigama Dickwella (we saw turtles, a beautiful rocks, and the most beautiful sunset) and Hiriketiya beach. The most favorite, the less crowded nearby beach is Dickwella Beach (7 minutes walk with kids), where we swam for hours, tried surfing, drank fresh juices, and the children ate wood-fired pizza. I liked everything very much.
