Cozy apartment near the hospital

Nice hostess for the apartment which had an elevator, 2 decks, and a comfy couch. Central location with parking on site.

Kitchen needs more things to cook with. Many missing or worn out bits like lids, pots, toaster, etc.

Parking in the property very handy. Landlady lovely. Very clean apartment. Elevator to curry the luggage on second floor. Spacious apartment and living room.

Mattress terrible, back hurting each morning. 3 very old and thin pillows, so one person took 2 of them to sleep, the other one had a lousy old and worn/thin pillow. Not enough light to read in living room. No power outlets near the sofa. No bedside table in one side, had to leave our staff at the floor. No bedside light, could not read in the bed. Only one power outlet in each side of bed. Cold living room, no heating method, only one Air Condition in bedroom but not enough. WiFi speed 3,5 - 5 Mbps, lousy. Broken towel hanger in bathroom, the one and only portable hanger was not enough to dry towels since they were touching one-another. Broken Dispenser for body-soap in bathroom, difficult to operate. Coffee machine at least 30-years' old, took an eternity to make coffee and it was terrible (we brought our own and we know the taste).

The apartment was spacious, but we only utilized the bedroom due to the heating issue. Its in a neighborhood, about a 10 min drive to the centre. It was great it had its own parking allocated on the property.

3 nights in the middle of December with no heating in the apartment, other than the aircon in the bedroom. We got the small electric heater from the bathroom to help with our wet feet. We ended up only staying in the bedroom as the lounge room offered a wood burning fire, but because we were in and out, it wasn’t practical to light a fire & sleep in the bedroom. It would take an effort to light the fire & heat up the apartment. The other heat source, the pellet stove, didnt work at all. The apartment was cold & only stayed in the bedroom to keep warm. On the 3 day, gramdma offered us an electric heater, which helped a little. The batbroom needs more attention as the tub/ shower was very dirty. Its fairly new & updated, but hadnt been cleaned at all. The tiles on the ground need a good clean, as my white socks got very dirty walking on the cold tiles. Perhaps some carpets would help in the winter, as the entire place had nothing to keep warm. It is Ioannina after all and it did rain & it was 0.c.
